Credit Rating Agency

A Credit Rating Agency is a company that assigns credit ratings to individuals and organisations and helps lenders in assessing the credit worthiness of the borrowers. In Aura, the Credit rating agency record is used to record credit ratings of organisations maintained under CRM.

Adding a Credit Rating Agency

To add a new credit rating agency

  1. From the Admin menu, click System Codes, Generic Definitions, and then Credit rating agency. The Credit rating agency Search page appears. All Credit Agencies available in Aura appear on the page, sorted alphabetically based on description.

  2. Click Add. The New Credit rating agency -- General (1/2) page appears

  1. Enter the Agency name. For example, Best Credit.

  2. Click Next. The New Credit rating agency -- Confirmation(2/2) page appears.

  1. Click Finish. The Credit Rating Agency page appears displaying the details you added

Functions: Add, Edit, Delete, Search.

The credit rating agency is then available to record the credit rating for a Person or Organisation created under CRM; or during the Loan origination process.

Delete: You can delete a Credit Rating Agency saved in Aura by a click on Delete button. Aura will ask for confirmation, on approving which the selected record will be deleted. If the record is already in use, then you cannot delete the same.

To Edit the Credit Rating Agency

  1. Access the Credit Rating Agency page.

  2. Click Edit. The Edit Credit Rating Agency page appears

The Agency name field is editable

  1. Make the required changes and click Save
