Message Type

Message Type allows you to maintain the various Message types for Cards.

To add Message Type

  1. From Cards menu, click Settings and then Message Type.Message Type search page appears.

Do one of the following:

  • Click Add.

  • Click All to retrieve all existing Message Type records. Then click on any of the existing Message Type records to access the Message Type page and then click Add.

  1. New Message Type -- Details (1/2) page appears.

  1. Enter Code for the Message Type. For example, 100.

  2. Enter Description for the Message Type. For example, Card Despatch.

  3. Click Next. New Message Type -- Confirmation (2/2) page appears.

  1. Click Finish. Message Type page appears displaying the details of the Message Type you added.

Functions: Add, Edit, Delete, Search

To Edit Message Type

  1. Access Message Type page.

  2. Click Edit. Edit Message Type page appears. Note: Only the Description field is editable.

  1. Make required changes and click Save. Message Type page appears with the edited details.

Delete: You can delete a Message Type by clicking Delete button. When you click Delete button, Aura displays an alert message. On confirmation, Aura will delete the Message Type. A Message Type can be deleted until it is mapped to the client.
